Introduction

About Saadhana

Saadhana is a thoughtfully designed, two-year residential coaching programme for exceptionally talented girls from underprivileged backgrounds in the remote regions of Karnataka. The programme empowers them to pursue their aspirations of entering medicine and other prestigious professional courses through focused coaching, academic support, and dedicated guidance.

Our mission is to empower these talented young women to secure merit-based admissions to government medical colleges and other prestigious institutions, opening doors to promising careers and brighter futures.

Saadhana is a beacon of hope, nurturing the potential of these remarkable girls and helping them overcome socio-economic barriers. By providing access to quality coaching and guidance, the programme strives to transform aspirations into achievements and create opportunities for a better future.

The Story Behind Saadhana

Saadhana was born out of a simple yet powerful question raised by young girls: “Why is Tapas only for boys and not for girls?” Their voices reflected a deep desire for equal opportunities to pursue their dreams.

Recognising their aspirations and the barriers that prevented them from accessing the opportunities offered by Tapas, we were inspired to create a similar programme for girls. Driven by their determination and our commitment to providing equal opportunities, we embarked on the journey of Saadhana – a programme dedicated to nurturing their potential and empowering them to realise their dreams.
