Bengaluru, Apr 28: Vidyarambha program was organized herein Tapas Campus, Banashankari for the newly selected Boys to get free PU and IIT-JEE coaching under the project, Tapas. 155 boys were participated in the Final Selection Camp (Apr 12-19) of the 13th batch of 2024-26 and finally, 45 Boys were selected.
Sri Anant Kulakarni, CEO of BASE, General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishat, Sri N Dinesh Hegde and Principal of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari, Smt. Purnima, were present.
In order to provide PU Education and IIT-JEE Coaching with Indian Values free of cost to the talented boys who are not financially strong, with the Educational Support from BASE Institute, Rashtrotthana started the Tapas Project in 2012.
Before this, two-stage entrance exams were conducted last Dec 25th and Jan 21st. 5000+ and 1546 boys of Karnataka studying in class 10th took the exam in 1st and 2nd levels respectively.
So far 366 Boys have received free education in Tapas and 36 have got admission in IIT and 92 in NIT.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 28: ತಪಸ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ PU ಹಾಗೂ IIT-JEE ಕೋಚಿಂಗ್ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ತಪಸ್ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್, ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರಂಭ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. 2024-26ರ ತಪಸ್‍ನ 13ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚಿನ ಅಂತಿಮ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ (ಏ. 12-19) 155 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ 45 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ BASEನ CEO, ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‍ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ. ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಬಲರಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಪಿಯು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಐಟಿ-ಜೆಇಇ ಕೋಚಿಂಗನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ, BASE Instituteನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನವು ತಪಸ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು 2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಳೆದ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್‌ 25 ಹಾಗೂ ಜನವರಿ 21ರಂದು ಎರಡು ಹಂತದ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ 5000+ ಹಾಗೂ 1546 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು 1 ಹಾಗೂ 2ನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
ತಪಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆವಿಗೂ 366 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು, 36 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಐಐಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ 92 ಮಂದಿ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀಟನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
