About UsJourney So Far Tapas Inception in 2012 In the year 2012, a remarkable initiative of Rashtrotthana named Tapas was born, igniting a beacon of hope for bright young minds with boundless dreams but limited means. This noble endeavour, a free residential 2-year education program, was conceived with a singular purpose: to empower meritorious boys hailing from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to fulfil their aspirations of excelling in the IIT JEE and joining IIT. At the heart of our project lie three fundamental objectives: reach the unreached, enable education, and transform lives. This is a transformative journey where we are not merely imparting knowledge to minds; we are catalysing change, nurturing untapped potential, and sculpting a brighter future for all. Together, we are bridging divides, igniting the flames of potential, and resolutely leaving no one behind in our relentless pursuit of knowledge and empowerment. Saadhana - NEET Inception in 2017 Saadhana is the result of determination. We heard the questioning voices of girls who, despite their aspirations, couldn't undertake the Tapas program entrance test as it was only for boys. Driven by their demand to start a similar program for girls and their perseverance, we embarked on a journey to buoy up the spirit of these girls. Thus, was born Saadhana, a meticulously crafted two-year residential coaching program tailored for exceptionally talented young women hailing from remote regions of Karnataka, aspiring to pursue medicine and other prestigious professional courses. Our resolute mission is to empower these girls by enabling them to secure merit seats in Government Medical colleges and other prestigious institutions. Saadhana serves as a glimmer of hope, harnessing the potential of these extraordinary girls, shattering the cycle of adversity, and lighting the way to a brighter and more promising future. Saadhana - CET Inception in 2017 Many girls from underprivileged backgrounds are unable to pursue higher education due to their financial backgrounds, family conditions and societal pressures. During the selection process of Saadhana-NEET and house visits, it was found by Rashtrotthana functionaries that many girls need to be supported for higher education lest their education is cut short. Saadhana-CET, initiated with this purpose, is a free residential education project for selected meritorious unprivileged girls, who have the desire for higher education but lack financial means. It nurtures them with free 11th and 12th Std education and CET coaching and enables them to join Engineering or any other professional courses. This would also ensure that they receive and complete higher education which would otherwise have been cut short due to early marriage or other prevalent social issues.
